Tasmanian Tiger is a genuinely Tasmanian venture. It’s two founding partners Hamish Harris and Charlie Wood both grew up on Merino sheep farms, albeit at opposite ends of the island. Both harbour an enduring connection to the land, its wild remoteness and the isolation that’s part-and-parcel of being the last inhabited land mass before Antarctica.
In their shared desire to create a premium drinks brand that is distinctively Tasmanian they have been joined by fellow Tasmanian, Nolan Stevens.
All three of its founders have considerable experience of successfully funding start-up ventures such as this. This time, they’re passionately committed to doing something that is ‘much closer to home’.
The no-nonsense approach that is shared by all three of its core team is already established as Tasmanian Tiger defining style, and will always be the foundation stone in the creation of what the team aspire to see become one of the world’s great new vodka brands.
